  • Subjects: mental health, resilience, healing, anxiety, grief, burnout, leadership, communications, engagement

Much of Dennis’ interdisciplinary curriculum comes from his work with the EcoPsychology Initiative, and their innovative and in-depth online training that looks at the inner and outer work of climate action. Dennis has shared this programming in a variety of ways, from speaking at conferences put on by institutions like the University of Maine, facilitating conversations with other leaders and organizations like CEBE, to providing workshops, consultations and trainings for businesses like Allagash Brewing and non-profits like Maine Youth for Climate Justice.

A Climate to Thrive

In Dennis’ role as a founding and ongoing executive committee board member of A Climate To Thrive (ACTT), Dennis has continued to find opportunities to practice and apply ecopsychology in service to the climate movement. Dennis was also invited to be on the Maine Climate Council’s working group on Community Resilience where he’s proud participant to help advance the important role of psychology in all climate action.

All of Dennis’ efforts come from a deep desire to see healing happen, for individuals, communities and the planet. He believes psychology plays a critical role in these processes, and is committed to sharing and supporting efforts however he can.
